Recommendations
Welcome to the BMG recommendations page! Here you can find all of my top recommendations in one place. Whenever someone has a question about my ride-or-die products, this is where I turn them to.
This is a list of all of my favorite products, from household items I use on the daily (and will never stop using until the day I die), to the blogging products and courses that have taken BMG (By Mable Grace) to the next level!
My Favorite Home Recommendations:
1. Portable Vacuum Cleaner
I use this vacuum cleaner quite literally every single day! Until I make it to the weekend where I do my deep clean of the house, I go around with this small vacuum to pick up all of the crumbs (mainly in the kitchen).
I’ll also use this to clean up my car because the black floor mats make every speck and crumb super visible.
There’s also different attachments that come with this one to help you get in those small crevices and hard to reach places (especially helpful in the car).
2. Metal Basket Labels
Baskets are one of my favorite ways to keep my home organized (also one of the easiest in my opinion). But of course, as someone who takes their organizing very seriously (also known as a Type-A perfectionist lol), basket labels are a must!
I won’t use them on decorative baskets like the one in my living room that holds extra blankets and pillows, but if your open up my hall closet or pantry, you’ll see a ton of these.
They look super clean and minimal, but save me a ton of time finding what I’m looking for and keeping everything as organized as possible!
3. Cabinet Organizer
For those above-counter cabinets, this is my favorite organizer! It really feels like it doubles your cabinet space, especially when you’re storing dishes and smaller items.
I have them in my cabinet with all of my dishes, to store m drink ware, coffee mugs, etc. They’re in most of my higher-up kitchen cabinets. It’s quite honestly a hack to get more storage space in your kitchen.
4. Pull-Out Cabinet Organizer
This is a great organizer for the kitchen. They’re adhesives that attach to the bottom of your cabinet shelf so you can use them as pull-out drawers.
They make finding what you’re looking for a heck of a lot easier. That way you don’t have to take everything out of those deep kitchen cabinets to get what you need.
5. Drawer Dividers
If you open up a drawer in my house, there is a good chance you will find these dividers. I use them in the kitchen, in my dresser, in the bathroom, literally every room of the house. They’re great because you don’t have to measure your drawer since they’re expandable.
They really help to keep everything in place so your items stay in their place.
6. Sheet Organizers
Sheets can be a pain to organize and store. I use to just fold them up and put them in the hall cabinet, but they would never stay folded and the cabinet would just turn into a mess of bed sheets.
I’ve found these to be the best sheet organizers. They’re super effective and great for keeping that hall closet organized and tidy. I wish I would have invested in these sooner, they would have saved me a lot of frustration haha.
7. Steam Cleaner
When I tell you this is the holy grail of cleaning products, I mean it! For those apartment or home deep cleaning days, this steam cleaner is the first thing I grab.
You can use it all over your house, for window sills, on tile, grout, you name it. It helps to lift that stubborn dirt that gets stuck in the small crevices. It’s honestly so satisfying to use and once you see how much dirt it removes, you’ll never want to stop using this.
Trust me on this one, your home will never look cleaner!
8. Self-Adhesive Caster Wheels
These caster wheels are a total game-changer for those heavier appliances on your countertops! Put them on the underside of your coffee maker, mixer, and any other large items you’re constantly using and moving around the kitchen to make it a whole lot easier on yourself.
Definitely something I wish I knew about sooner!
9. Label Maker
If you’re someone who is Type A like me, a label maker is a no-brainer. It’s honestly quite addicting and once I started labeling bins and drawers in my home, it was hard to stop haha.
You can definitely get label makers with more bells and whistles, but I’ve found this one works great and gets the job done!
10. Display Lights
I use these display lights all over the house. They’re great for putting above picture frames, kind of as an ambient lighting that highlights the pictures. I also like to use them above my floating shelves for a touch of sophistication.
They’re super affordable, but make a huge difference when it comes to home decor!
11. Sunrise Alarm
I had to include this one on the list because it’s something I splurged on but honestly don’t think I could live without. If you haven’t heard about this sunrise alarm clock, it’s become super popular!
And after I caved and bought one for myself, I completely understand why everyone is so obsessed with it.
It’s quite literally the most peaceful way to go to sleep and wake up every morning. After using this, waking up to one of those obnoxious alarms on your phone is out of the question.
It also looks pretty sitting on your nightstand, which isn’t the most important part, but it’s definitely a factor. 🙂
12. Utility Cart
A utility cart is a great affordable piece to keep you organized. You can put it to use anywhere in your house or apartment to give you extra space to store your essentials.
Some great ways to use this cart: turn it into a bar cart, use it as a cleaning cart, use it to hold all of your extra office supplies, or put it in the bathroom to organize towels and extra products.
13. Clear Organizer
This is one of my most asked about items on the blog. I use it in my car console to keep myself organized and store all of my car essentials. If you want to know how I use this bag to organize my car, check out this post on this car essentials pouch.
You can also use it as a travel bag for your toiletries. There’s a lot of different ways you can put this organizer to use, and it holds a ton.
14. Car Trash Cans
This is quite literally one of the best ways to keep your car clean. I have one in every door of my car (they fit perfectly) and they’re great for holding those small scraps and pieces of trash so they don’t end up on your car floor or floating around.
15. Trunk Organizer
This is one of the most helpful organizers I keep in my car. Unless I need to pack my car up with luggage to go on a road trip, you will always find this in my trunk.
It’s super helpful for holding groceries and shopping bags for everyday use so they don’t spill everywhere. It’s also a great for holding road trip essentials like blankets, wet wipes, coolers, etc. The smaller pockets on the side are great for keeping smaller items like tissues and water bottles.
My Favorite Blogging Products:
1. Bluehost (through WordPress)
Bluehost is what I used to start my blog, and what I am still using to this day! If you’re looking to start a money-making blog, it’s super important to have a self hosted website and this is one of the easiest and more affordable ways to do it (it’s $1.95/month!).
It’s rated one of the best blog hosting companies, and I recommend it to all of my readers wanting to start a blog.
Bluehost was such an important foundational piece for growing a blog that brings in good money (BTW, I use Bluehost through WordPress).
2. 17th Avenue
If you are creating a blog or a website, a super important factor that can make or break your website is the theme. I know it may sound a little dramatic, but people definitely judge a book by its cover.
A beautiful theme can also make your website look so much more professional and give the impression that you know what you’re doing, even if you are just starting out.
17th Avenue Designs is by far my favorite place for blog themes. When I first started my blog, I purchased the Charlotte Theme, which was beautiful and just what I needed for starting out.
A couple of months ago, I purchased the Clover Theme (the theme I am currently using on my blog) which is a little more intricate and has allowed me to play with a couple more details and fine-tune my blog.
Overall, I could not recommend 17th Avenue enough for blog and website themes.
Not only do they look super professional and put-together, but they make it super easy to customize the theme and make it your own, which ultimately helps to optimize your audience’s experience and grow your blog.
I don’t think I would have been able to grow my blog nearly as fast if I didn’t have a strong theme that helped me establish my brand.
They also have amazing customer service and troubleshooting that helped me immensely when I first started my blog and had no idea what I was doing (I still reach out to them this day and they’re super easy to work with).
In the future I see myself working with a graphic designer to create my own website theme from scratch like most bloggers do. But as of now, I am very happy with how my blog looks and I owe it all to 17th Avenue.
3. Flodesk
Flodesk is the email service I use for all of my emails and opt-ins. There are a lot of great email services out there that I have personally tried out, but I have always come back to Flodesk.
They make it easy to incorporate your brand colors, fonts, and styles into your emails, pop-ups, and landing pages to make the process seamless.
One of my favorite parts about using Flodesk is that you can literally customize EVERYTHING which is a huge bonus when it comes to branding and making everything look aesthetic.
They also have a ton of premade templates that make it easy and quick to put together a quick email.
In addition to the design aspect, Flodesk allows you to create workflows and automation that automatically collect subscribers and send emails out so you don’t have to do it all manually.
So many experienced and well-known bloggers that earn over 6 figures a year on their blog use Flodesk as their email provider and have been able to use this platform to real in thousands of dollars each month. Naturally, I had to start focusing on my email list and try it out for myself.
This is my first year using Flodesk as my email provider, and I truly believe that it is helping me grow my email list. I will keep you updated on the process and how it is going as I get more experience and grow my list. 😉

My Favorite Blogging Courses:
Blogging courses are a great way to grow quicker by learning from blogging professionals who have found a ton of success and know exactly what works and what doesn’t to grow your blog.
There are A TON of blogging courses out there that claim to skyrocket your traffic overnight or boost your income instantly, so you have to do your research and make sure that the courses your invest in are legit and have helped other bloggers see real results.
These are the blogging courses that I have invested in and have found great success with!
1. Pinteresting Strategies
This was the first ever blogging course I purchased, and I have zero regrets! One of the best ways to market your blog is through Pinterest. And once you learn how to use it to your advantage, it’s a major marketing win for your blog.
The key is learning how to use it, which unfortunately is a lot harder than it seems. When I first started using Pinterest for my blog, I had no idea what the heck I was doing.
This course gave me a great understanding of how to use Pinterest to market my blog. Even though I no longer use the exact strategies in this course, I use a lot of them and still think it’s a great foundation for understanding the basics of how to use Pinterest as a business owner.
It’s also one of the cheaper courses out there, but that doesn’t mean it’s not full of helpful information. This is definitely one I recommend to bloggers just starting out!
2. Perfecting Blogging
This is by far THE BEST course for learning all about how to run your blog to set it up for success! Sophia, the blogging boss behind this course, gets into the nitty gritty details that are the key to running a successful money-making blog.
I honestly had no idea how much I didn’t know, until I took this course. It’s kind of crazy how much you learn from this one. It teaches you everything from how to set up and start your blog, to the behind-the-scenes details of how to maximize your performance for a profitable blog.
There’s also a lot of content planning and key strategies that she teaches that have made such a huge difference when applying them to my own blog.
I honestly owe a HUGE part of my blogging success to this course! I have taken almost all of her courses (besides the social media one) and can honestly say I would 100% recommend every. single. one.
She offers packages to get a discount if you want all of her courses, but if you want to start out with one, this is definitely the one I would recommend taking first.
3. Perfecting Pinterest
Perfecting Pinterest is the second of Sophia’s course that I purchased. Like the Perfecting Blogging one it was beyond helpful and I quite literally followed her Pinteresting strategies exactly, and saw huge success!
To this day I go back to the course, dissecting it even more, and making sure I’m doing exactly as she says, because it ACTUALLY WORKS. It’s not like those other courses that claim to be the best Pinterest course you’ve ever taken and then gives you a vague strategy that doesn’t work long term.
If you follow this course to a tea, you will see results! Pinterest is one of those platforms that can make your blog super successful, if you use it correctly.
4. Perfecting Emailing
I included this one because I have purchased it, and so far I love it! I’m still taking this course and milking it for all of its worth, so when I finish, I will definitely update you guys to let you know how it’s worked for me and if it’s worth it.
