If you struggle to keep your closet organized and tidy, then you are in the right place!
It can be extremely hard to keep your closet clean, especially when you do not have the right tools or strategies to do so.
No matter where your problem allies, I am here to help you redefine an organized closet, with these helpful tips and products.
By showing you how to organize your closet like a pro, this post will ensure your closet reaches its full organizational potential!
Closet Organization Tool #1: Velvet Hangers
This is one of the best organizational products you can have in your closet.
Due to their velvet exterior, these hangers will keep your clothes from slipping and falling onto the floor while keeping a clean and organized look to your closet.
Say goodbye to piles of fallen clothes on your closet floor!
Closet Organization Tool #2: Non-Hanging Clothing Storage
If you are looking for something to store your non-hanging clothes in, or even if you already have a place but you still need more space, I have the perfect solution for you!
While still keeping your clothes easily accessible and organized, this affordable cloth organizer is the perfect size to keep hidden away in your closet.
Closet Organization Tool #3: Hanging Glasses Display Case
I know I am not alone when I say “I have so many sunglasses but nowhere to store them or keep them organized.”
Luckily this hanging glasses case fixes that problem.
With its clear and clean look and its ability to hang on a wall, this storage case will keep all of your glasses looking pristine and out of harm’s way! 🙂
Closet Organization Tool #4: Shoe Racks
Shoe racks are a game changer!
These stackable closet organizers could not be a better and more convenient way to store shoes.
I find time, and time again that these shoe racks are one of the most effective and affordable ways to keep my closet (my shoes, more specifically) organized. I love them!
Closet Organization Tool #5: Hanging Organizers
If you do not have space or do not like shoe racks or cloth storage drawers hanging out on your closet floor, then hanging organizers are just for you!
While I prefer the cloth drawers and shoe racks, I completely understand why you would choose the hanging organizers route.
They are a simple and easy way of keeping your clothes and/or shoes organized, tidy, and (if you choose) close by your hanging clothes.
They are pretty darn convenient.
Closet Organization Tool #6: Large Storage Bins
Does anyone have memorable or cherishable items that they would like to hold onto, but don’t know how to store them?
I have the answer!
Recently, I came across these huge storage bins on amazon and immediately found a use for them.
I currently have six of these large bins in my closet, holding all of my special and memorable items ranging from my childhood to now.
I know that may seem like a lot, but I just have so much I want to hold onto, ranging from some of my most special childhood stuffed animals to my untalented art pieces (lol) that I created in elementary school.
Can anyone else relate?
That being said, they can also be used as storage for out-of-season clothing. Or whatever you need to be stored and organized. 🙂
Closet Organization Tips To Maximize Your Closet Space
While that may be all the organization products for your closet that I have to share with you, for now at least, there are still some effective tips that will help to elevate your closet space.
- The first tip is to regularly clean out your closet.
I know this might seem basic, but it is a very easy way to keep your closet tidy and up to date, relating to your style, liking, and size.
- Next, roll your non-hanging clothes, instead of folding them.
This might seem unusual, or it might not, but nonetheless this is an amazingly effective tip to maximize your drawer space.
I have found that over the years, this method (by far) is the best way to manage, organize, and simply store your clothes.
- Lastly, if you are a perfectionist, like me, organizing your clothes based on their clothing categorization and color is extremely useful!
For example, on one side of my (hanging) closet, I have long-sleeved tops, short-sleeved tops, and tank tops which I have hanging in color order, starting with red and moving through the rainbow until I get to black.
Then on the other side of my hanging closet, I store all of my jackets, coats, and sweatshirts mimicking the same color order as I used before.
This will help you to find the exact clothing item you are looking for in a remarkably fast amount of time.
It is also more appealing to the eye.
