Does anyone else always feel like they never have enough time in the morning to accomplish the simple basics of a morning routine?
Whether it is not having enough time to make a healthy, filling, and nutritious breakfast, or not having enough time to look presentable, I constantly feel as though time is against me.

I know I cannot get enough of this breakfast!
Instructions
- Start by pouring ½ cup of almond milk (or your preferred milk) into a bowl. Next, mix in ¾ cup of oats along with 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into your milk.
- Then add 1 (extremely) mashed banana and 2 tablespoons of cacao powder into your bowl. If you like your overnight oats to be a little sweeter, add 1 tablespoon of either honey or maple syrup.
- Finally, pour your overnight oats mixture into a tupper-ware container (I love these best-selling containers) or a small jar, snap or screw on the lid, and put it in your fridge.
- When you are ready to indulge in your yummy breakfast the following day, simply take the oats out of the fridge, and add your desired toppings: berries, walnuts, chocolate chips, etc.
Believe it or not, that’s it. Bon Appetit!
Chocolate Dream Overnight Oats
This quick, easy, and healthy chocolate dream overnight oats recipe will leave you craving more. From its desert-like-flavor to its healthy contents, there is nothing not to love about this recipe!
- 1/2 cup almond milk (If you would like your overnight oats to be a less thick consistency add ¾ cup of almond milk.)
- 3/4 cup oats (You can use rolled oats or old fashioned, completely up to you. If you are wondering the difference between the two, old fashioned oats are a little bit thinner and flatter, while rolled oats are a little bit thicker.)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (This will give your breakfast a boost of protein.)
- 1 mashed banana (This will add sweetness and thicken the overall consistency of the overnight oats.)
- 2 tbsp cacao powder (While this ingredient often adds a little bitterness to a dish, its chocolate flavor is what makes it a necessity in this dish.)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (This is not required, but if you would like your breakfast to be extra sweet, I would recommend adding either to your mixture.)
- toppings (There are so many different toppings to choose from. But if I were to pick two, I would have to go with raspberries and walnuts. The tang of the raspberries and the crunch of the walnuts complete this breakfast for me.)
