Not sure what to pack in your carry on bag? Here are the carry on bag essentials you need for your next trip.
With everything getting back to normal, a lot of people are beginning to travel again. So, I thought I would share the carry on bag essentials that everyone should have with them on the airplane.
Here are the carry on bag essentials from carry on backpack essentials, carry on bag items, carry on luggage travel essentials, and more.
After learning about these carry on bag essentials, you will know exactly what to pack in your carry on for the next time you travel.
This post is all about the carry on bag essentials you should have with you on your next trip.
Duffle Bag
This duffle is the perfect carry-on bag. It’s super lightweight and has a lot of space for all your carry-on essentials and then some. It even has storage on the bottom to hold a pair of shoes.
I recently used mine for a weekend getaway and it held everything! I purchased this duffle in the color Oatmeal, which I was nervous about getting dirty because it is such a light color. But, it turns out, this bag is super easy to clean.
Because it is super popular, I have found that this color particularly sells out really quickly when it comes back in stock. I think this oatmeal color is worth the wait, but there are several other beautiful colors to choose from.
AirPod Pros
I don’t know what I would do without my AirPod Pros. I am constantly listening to music and podcasts when I am on the go and the noise cancellation feature is perfect for travel.
Blue Light Glasses
I highly recommend blue-light glasses to anyone who uses screens a lot. Which, let’s be honest, is almost everyone.
These blue-light glasses help relieve eye strain and headaches that come with staring at screens. I definitely notice a difference when I wear them vs when I don’t.
Headphones
I recently invested in these gorgeous wireless noise-canceling headphones and I wish I bought them sooner.
They are a little pricey, but between the amazing sound quality and super comfortable fit, I think it is worth the money. Especially, since I know I will get a lot of use out of them and keep them for a long time.
If you are looking for a more affordable option, I recommend these noise-canceling headphones. They are a great product for the price and get the job done.
Hand Sanitizer
I always carry one of these hand sanitizers around with me, especially with all the germs that come with traveling. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, sanitized, and soft. Velvet peach is my favorite scent so far.
AirTag
If you don’t know what an AirTag is, it is a tracker that allows you to track your things from the “Find Me” app on your iPhone. I keep one in my suitcase that I check and another in my purse.
You can also buy a case for your AirTag so you can easily attach it to keys, bags, and other belongings. One of Apple’s most affordable and useful gadgets!
Sleep Mask
I have never really been the type of person to wear a sleep mask. But after receiving one of these luxurious silk ones as a gift, I do not go a night without wearing it.
This sleep mask is incredibly soft, helps block out light, and is anti-aging (never a bad thing). I keep my sleep mask in my carry-on just in case I want to get some sleep on the plane.
Reading Light
I always feel bad turning on the overhead light when traveling, especially when it is a long flight and people are trying to get some sleep. This reading light has seen me through many trips and has allowed me to indulge in my book when the cabin lights are turned off.
Reusable Snack Bag
Snacks are a must when traveling. It is hard to know what the food options are going to look like at the airport or on the plane, so I like to keep some trail mix, crackers, or some kind of dried fruit in my reusable snack bag.
You never know when you are going to need a little pick-me-up to get through the day.
Mini Hairbrush
It is always nice to have a mini brush with you to touch up your hair after a long day of travel. This little brush has boar bristles, which are my favorite because they detangle your hair really well and you won’t be left with static electricity that can come from using a regular brush.
Portable Charger
If you are on a smaller plane, there are not always outlets. So, if your phone dies, you are pretty much out of luck for the time being. This power bank can fully charge your phone over two times. I don’t usually end up using all charges, but it is nice to know it is always there if I need it.
Toiletry Bag
I purchased this toiletry bag at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and it is the perfect size to hold your toiletries. Plus, it has compartments and pockets to keep all of your items organized. I love it so much I ended up purchasing the mini version as well!
