But while all of that sounds amazing, it can be hard to find the right planner or to-do pad that perfectly encapsulates a layout that will promote the most productivity.
And because I understand the struggle, I have included varieties of planning essentials to help you feel powerful and put-together!

Life Planners
Life planners are exactly how they sound. They are planners for every aspect of your life. These are the ultimate organizers, with space galore to write down anything and everything on your mind.
While they are a little bit pricey, I can promise you that they are completely worth it.
After receiving one of these stunning planners for Christmas, I have never looked at planning the same way again.

I am not going to lie to you, these custom planners are quite pricey. That being said I do love their layout and have found them to be practical, not to mention extremely cute and aesthetic.
There are several more designs to choose from, but because I did not want to overwhelm you, I chose a couple of my favorites. 😉
Academic Planners

Even though high-school and college are such fun times, they can often be hectic and overwhelming. But I know for certain that after using the academic planner, I no longer struggled to keep on top of my studies.
As the academic planner is made (especially) for students, it contains sections for a two-semester class schedule, several projects and exams, and a spacious notes section.
It is safe to say that it has all of the basics and more to help you conquer school!
Notebooks
After having used one of these notebooks to take notes in class, I will say that they are not much different from the average notebook.
That being said, even though these notebooks aren’t exactly essential, their fun and cute durable covers are what make them stand out from the rest.
You can also match the cover of your life or academic planner with these notebooks, which makes taking notes in class a little more bearable. 😉
Petit Planners
If you are like me and always on the go, then the petite planner is just for you! They are the perfect size to carry around in your purse, so you don’t have to sacrifice additional space for your regular-sized planner.
I like to stick mine in my everyday purse and carry it around with me everywhere I go, just in case I need to add something or check my daily schedule.
But don’t be fooled by its miniature size. It still has all the contents you need for your on-the-go planning.
Planning Pads

While I consider myself a lifestyle or academic planner kind of gal, I understand that it’s not for everyone. Which is why I brought in some cute and useful weekly and monthly planner pads to add to the essentials list.
I have found, that the most beneficial aspect of these pads is the fact that you can have your entire schedule laid out in front of you, rather than having to flip between pages like you would have to do with a regular planner.
I have also seen several people who will tear off their paper for the week or month and place it under their desk mat to display it for an easy visual of their schedule.
I mean, they are pretty darn useful.
Notepads and To-Do Lists
Even though planners may be all you need, it can be nice to have a separate pad to write down your to-do list or jot down some ideas that come to mind.
That being said, these to-do lists and notepads will keep you organized beyond belief for ultimate planning.
Not to mention, going along the recurring theme of this post, they are pretty darn cute.
Pens and Markers
While roaming the pages of Amazon, I found myself attracted to the bright nature of these pens and markers.
And after finding out that they were erasable, I immediately purchased them.
I am happy to say that they are a total game-changer.
Whether you are taking notes or planning out your schedule, there are no pens that will write as smooth, or quite as beautifully as these.

Before we wrap up this post, I wanted to share some of the best accessories to further organize your planner.
If you end up choosing the coiled life planner or even the coiled academic planner, then this to-do list whiteboard snap-in is the perfect accessory.
I find that even with the large amounts of space in my life and academic planners, I could always use a little extra space to write down my daily tasks.
This next accessory is extremely helpful for those of you who do not have monthly tabs.
These multi-color adhesive tabs don’t just look cute, but quickly direct you to which month you are trying to get to.
They are kinda like an elevator for your planner. 🙂
